Nature is ever-evolving, abundantly generous, brilliant, and super-powerful. A force we often take for granted, yet we take so much from the natural world. The air we breathe, the sun that shines, the staggering variety of plants, even our human bodies are all crucial to our everyday lives.
In return, at least we can take better care of the place where we live.
Earth Day is a perfect time for a reminder about how spending time connecting to/communing with nature helps us find more peacefulness within and helps to put our lives into a more meaningful, less stressful, perspective. Nature, if we allow it, can be our greatest teacher.
“Adopt the pace of nature. Her secret is patience.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson
